| Description: |
The Guitar Synthesizer replaces each of
the harmonics in the guitar's sound with a synthesized version. The
basic waveform of the synthesized harmonics can be changed with the
waveform knob. There are 5 oscillators per harmonic, and a timbre knob
to control the frequencies and amplitudes of the oscillators.
You can change the Wet/dry mix knob to make the output sound more
synthesized by using more wet effected sound. Or mix it with more dry
original sound to make a more natural sound.
Using the guitar synth with effects like the flanger, chorus, phaser,
reverb and tremolo helps to put some life into the synthesized sound
by adding some amplitude and / or frequency modulation, which makes
the final result sound more natural. There are several synth presets
you can try out, that will show you what the synth can do in
combination with other effects. The guitar synth is a lot of fun and
you can create loads of new and interesting sounds that you wouldn't
normally be able to create any other way.
It is important to make sure that your guitar is in tune, before using
this effect. |
