Flanger

Description:
The flanger produces a slow searing sound, and is frequently used with distortion to dynamically alter the tone of the distortion, which together with a little stereo separation can add a lot more depth to the effect. The flanger can also be used to create a doubling effect similar to the chorus, or it can be used to produce the effect of a reel to reel tape machine being slowed down, and then speeded up.

Controls:
Wet / Dry The mix of effected and unaffected sound.
Rate The is the rate at which the effect cycles.
Depth The strength of the effect.
Delay Alters the tonal quality and the way the sound is filtered.
Feedback Increases the intensity of the effect.
Delay Pan This adds an extra delay to one channel to create a sense of greater depth to the effect.
Waveform Waveform being used by the low frequency oscillator used to modulate the effect.
