Multiband Distortion

Description:

The multiband distortion creates a very rich and wide sound and allows you to control the amount of distortion in the bass, mid, and treble ranges. Distortion is applied to each of the bands individually which produces a much richer and smoother sound than a standard distortion effect. Increasing the number of bands increases the smoothness of the effect. It is a combined hi-gain distortion and multiband echo effect which is great for rock and metal. Placing an equaliser after the multiband distortion will give you a lot more tone control, which you can easily change from the preset button on the equaliser. This effect sounds great with some post distortion equalisation, and a flanger or phaser.

Controls:
Volume The output level for the effect.
Gain Amount of amplification.
Num Bands Number of EQ bands used by the effect.
Bass Dist Amount of bass distortion.
Mid1 Dist Amount of lower mid range distortion.
Mid2 Dist Amount of upper mid range distortion.
Treble Dist Amount of treble distortion.
Delay The time between each returning harmonic.
